Jennifer Rae Ochs and Steinway & Sons, a match made in heaven… (Demo)

Fall is underway and its a busy season full of showings and festivals kicking off with The Steinway Grand Opening in San Diego. I am thrilled to be their featured artist for this weekend long event. The celebration begins Friday Night with an exclusive showing of works inspired by my love of music and lifelong study of classical piano. I am honored to be collaborating with Steinway and to have my work showing at their new flagship gallery throughout this year.

I created this piece while under the tutelage of the late great French pianist Vivian Florian, a protégé of famed Polish composer, pianist and Steinway enthusiast, Ignaz Paderewski. Vivian and I were were deeply immersed in my study of Beethoven and Chopin. The drama of their compositions in concert with my devotion to master each movement inspired this Steinway Gallery featured work “Piano”.
