The complete JOY of meeting my people, and reconnecting, when the timing is right…

I met this outrageously fun couple 2 years ago, pre-covid. They strolled back into my life, “do you remember us”? Believe me, they were impossible to forget.

He immediately points to The Fathom piece, explaining the Master Bedroom remodel. Hours later they returned, with a champagne split in hand, ready to acquire two pieces, “perfect for our space”. That evening I delivered, when I walked into the Master Bedroom, it took my breathe away, blown away how perfect this black, brass, and silver masterpiece was, to complete the design vision.

They also acquired a 48×72 inch Bronze Collection, for their Dining Room Statement Wall, complimenting their wild, meticulously curated aesthetic. Prior to my departure, she says, “we may have another project for you”. We toured space, wandered into the guest bedroom, “I know this color scheme is bold, I defer to you, and give you complete freedom to create a piece bold enough to tie it all together.” I appreciated her clear vision, openness to experiment, and “A-Type” nature.

Many phone chats, and months later, the custom piece was delivered, we celebrated by making time for dinner. This relationship blossomed , into something … to be cherished.

Jennifer Rae Ochs bares witness to the world and herself. She renders the complexity of both in vibrant abstraction. A celebrator of life, JRO illustrates her story with color and texture. Her body of work is a wild confessional tethered only by the truth of her experience, and the discipline of her craft. JRO creates a visual story, grounded in reality and spirited by possibility. JRO ART is exhibited and collected globally.

JRO is a gifted visual artist who creates original work in several mediums. At the heart of JRO’s work is mixed media, acrylics on canvas. JRO creates original artwork for private collectors, public art, hospitality art, and corporate collections. JRO and her work can be seen at art festivals, in galleries and museums.

The fine artist indulges her passion for adventure travel whenever possible and remains dedicated to the study of classical piano. Jennifer has been based in Los Angeles since 2000 and now divides her time between the LA studio, and travel for her art exhibition tours.
